ROLF METHOD & HEALING
The Rolf Method of Structural Integration
The Rolf Method focuses on the protective layer called fascia which surrounds the muscles and organs in the body. Fascia gives muscles their shape and the body its structure. The continuing pull of gravity, the stress of daily activities and physical injuries can pull the body out of alignment. The fascia gradually shortens, tightens, sticks together and accommodates to the misalignment. When the body is out of alignment it creates inefficiency and imbalance resulting in stiffness, discomfort, pain and loss of energy.
The Rolf Method aligns and balances the body through lengthening and repositioning the fascia. During sessions pressure is applied to the body in a systematic way returning it to its structurally optimal position. This allows you to move with more ease, breathe easier, have better posture, and regain range of motion, more flexibility and more energy. Also, athletic performance is improved. For best results this treatment is administered progressively in a 10 session series as each session builds upon the last until complete integration of the body is achieved.

Customized Massage
Our licensed massage therapists will always cater your session to your specific needs. Modalities may include Swedish, Deep Tissu, Sports Massage, Neuro Muscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, Shiatsu,Thai, Reflexology, CranioSacral Therapy and Energy Healing. Be sure to express to your therapist which area of concern you would like to focus your session on. Examples are your back, neck, shoulders, legs, full body, headache, carpal tunnel, stress etc. Also ask for the level of pressure you are most comfortable with whether it be light, medium or deep. Your communication is essential in order for your needs to be met.

Pregnancy Massage (By Appointment)

Thai Massage (By Appointment)
Thai massage is an interactive manipulation of the body using passive stretching and gentle pressure along energy lines and is sometimes thought of as assisted yoga. These movements help to adjust the skeletal structure, increase flexibility, relieve muscular and joint tension, stimulate internal organs, and balance the body's energy system.
