Scheduling Appointments: We encourage you to Book Online! Join our Loyalty Program and receive points every time you Book Online. If you choose to call the spa, know that we require a credit card and valid email to reserve your appointment.
Cancellation Policy: Please confirm your cancellation in person or by phone at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled treatment time. You may also cancel via our confirmation emails. We ask all our clients to honor this policy as a way to help our practitioners minimize empty time slots. We will not charge you a cancellation fee as long as you cancel before your appointment time. Please note that No Shows will be charged a fee equal to 100% of their scheduled appointment. It is always best to cancel as opposed to not showing up.
Late Arrivals: Arriving late to an appointment will limit the time of your treatment. If you have not called ahead to let us know you are running late, your appointment will be held for a maximum of 5 minutes in cases when we have another client who is present and requesting the time slot. We cannot guarantee your appointment if you arrive late.
Directions: Be sure to check our directions link. Do Not follow GPS or Internet directions as they will take you to the wrong location.
Gratuities: Cash Tips are appreciated but always optional. If you choose to leave a tip please note that it cannot be added to credit card charges under any circumstances. We appreciate referrals and positive reviews just as much!
Restroom Use: Please use the restroom prior to arriving at Waves Spa. You will walk by bathrooms within the building on the way to our front door. Please use them at that time. We do not have restrooms within the spa.
Return Policy: Unopened products can be returned with a receipt within 14 days for a full refund. Opened products cannot be returned. We do not offer refunds on services rendered. All prepaid series and packages are final sales and non-refundable. Gift Cards & Certificates are non-refundable but are transferable.
Gift Cards: Waves Spa accepts shop.fiu.edu Gift Cards that can be purchased in person (for cash only) at the FIU One Card Office in the Gold Garage on the FIU Campus. The shop.fiu.edu Gift Cards is available for purchase and redemption to everyone including off-campus clients and visitors. We no longer sell gift certificates directly from the spa. Previously purchased gift certificates will be honored through their expiration date. Waves Spa continues to accept SpaFinder/SpaWish Gift Cards and Spa & Wellness Gift Cards by Spa Week but note that these all have restrictions that the shop.fiu.edu Gift Cards does not. IMPORTANT: ALL GIFT CARDS MUST BE REDEEMED IN FULL. No cash back for unredeemed funds and no balances will be carried on the cards.
Please note: SpaFinder and SpaWish gift certificates and cards cannot be used towards the purchase of a Package, Series or Special Rate. They may be used towards individual services only. These gift cards have a preset amount that must also be used in full in a single visit. |
